  • Finding Us

    We are located at 4918 Park Road, Charlotte NC 28209

    Due to recent events, we currently don't have a sign. To help you locate us, please refer to the photo above for a visual of our shop. We are a white, stand-alone building with a white porch, situated between Attorney Li and Modern Haircutters. If you have any trouble finding us, feel free to call us at (704) 666-1995.

  • Preparation

    Hydration, proper nutrition, and adequate sleep are crucial the day before your tattoo appointment.

    To facilitate the tattooing process, we kindly request that you abstain from alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and excessive caffeine consumption 24 hours before your scheduled session. Arriving for your appointment without any hangover or influence of alcohol or drugs is essential. Failure to comply may result in the forfeiture of your deposit, necessitating the scheduling of a new appointment.

    Please ensure that you have eaten before your appointment, as this is a critical step often overlooked by many. Consuming a substantial and dense meal provides your body with the necessary sustenance to endure a tattoo session, especially for longer sessions. Your cooperation in these preparations contributes to a smoother and more successful tattoo experience.

    A reminder that your appointment time is set. If you tap out before the end of your piece/set day, you will still be charged for the original duration of the appointment (half or full-day, whichever was confirmed at time of scheduling).

    * We offer snacks and water in our lobby for you to enjoy during your appointment.

  • Arrival

    Parking for clients is available at the front of our building.

    Our doors remain locked until your appointment time, 11:00 am (unless otherwise noted). Please do not ring the doorbell before your scheduled time, as your artists use the time before to prepare for your appointment.

    Failure to arrive within 20 minutes of your scheduled appointment, without prior communication, will result in the marking of your appointment as canceled, and your deposit will be forfeited. If you find yourself more than 30 minutes late to your appointment (even with notice), you will be charged a full hour ($250) on top of your appointment fee.

    We kindly ask that you reach out to us if you anticipate running late to avoid any inconvenience.

  • Canceling

    Since your appointment is outside our cancellation window, rescheduling will require a new deposit.

    In the event of a no-call/no-show on your scheduled appointment day, you will be required to place a new deposit, and future appointments will incur a higher deposit fee. Repeated instances of no-call/no-show (more than once) will result in the inability to secure future appointments with us.

    If you are feeling ill, please let us know before coming in for your appointment. Your health and safety are top priority for us here at The Grey Ash.
